This is why I’m interested in the Ruger PC Carbine. I generally suck pretty bad with a pistol, but i have a familial tremor I can blame it on, so its not just being shitty for no reason. I’m fair-to-middlin’ with a long gun though, so I’m planning on focusing my efforts there.

  1. Plus one on knowing your limitations.

The military did a study with red dot pistols .. scores dramatically improved with zero training or learning curve.

    It’s an expensive option.

The other option is a brace / sbr / pdw that allows you to shoulder the firearm. Same style military / law enforcement study found dramatic improvement immediately compared to pistol scores from the same shooters.

The “BRACE” rules from the ATF make such devices small & concealable .. because it preserves the “pistol” classification. Which is key to concealment laws.

    For example .. https://www.endotactical.com

There are other options out there .. each has or has not been cleared by the ATF .. but in a SHTF .. who cares .. right?
