Doe’s objections were triggered by a 33-slide module on gender in the required gender diversity course. He told Quillette, “I would be fine taking an awareness course if it [were] factual and based in science. But I felt it was too ideological.” Now, he states, “I can’t coach. I can’t be on the bench. I can’t help on the ice —even just to help on the ice, you need this training.”
As Quillette notes, the case that precipitated new training requirements revolved around Jesse Thompson, a girl who identified as a boy and complained about not having access to the boys’ locker room. Ultimately OHF deferred to an LGBT activist organization called Egale Canada to create new training materials.
Quillette notes, “Egale, a Toronto-based charity founded in 1986, has published materials indicating that children understand their gender identity ‘between the ages of three and five.’ And in the gender identity course that Egale produced for the OHF, it ratcheted that age down to ‘between 18-30 months.’”
Doe asked for a temporary exemption so he could explain to OHF why he objected; that request was denied. Quillette writes that Hockey Canada’s Senior Vice-President for Insurance and Risk Management wrote back saying the course was required. That prompted Doe to write to Egale Canada and challenged some of the materials for the course, which yielded no different result.
That is not “training” it is indoctrination. I’m glad this father would kneel, but I;m also sad that his son ( and the other boys) is now losing this man’s obvious enthusiasm and volunteer spirit.
It would be easy to make fun of Canada as being up Woke Creek, but really we’re only lagging behind by a few strokes ourselves, if that much.
Happy Hump Day!On to the links! This rates an enormous, ninety-decibel “No Shit”: High-tax states are driving people away. Alaska is blowing its top. Horseshit. This has a frighteningly familiar ring to it. Thousands of pro-Second Amendment protestors turned out in Richmond. And, amazingly, nobody died. The whole thing ended peacefully. Remember the last…

Yaroslav Suris is suing the popular porn site claiming it’s denied the deaf and hearing-impaired access to its videos that others can easily enjoy. According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Suris says a lack of closed-captioning violates their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
In court documents cited by TMZ, Suris makes claims that the deaf and hard of hearing are unable to understand the audio portion of some videos listed on Pornhub.
Suris then lists a number of videos that he tried to watch, but was unable to understand, including Hot Step Aunt Babysits Disobedient Nephew, Sexy Cop Gets Witness to Talk and Daddy 4K – Allison comes to Talk About Money to Her Boys’ Naughty Father.
Kelly Holstine is a left-wing Minnesota teacher who was honored as the state’s Teacher of the Year for 2018-19, and made headlines locally by refusing to attend the White House ceremony at which the states’ honorees were recognized last spring. Shockingly, she doesn’t like President Trump, and didn’t want to be anywhere near him. This is how she describes herself on Twitter (after telling us that her pronouns are “she/her”):
Director of Educational Equity at OutFront MN, Previous Alt-Ed Teacher, Animal Rescuer
Fast forward to Monday night’s college football championship game–the one at which President Trump received a thunderous welcome from the crowd. During the pregame ceremony, the states’ Teachers of the Year were again honored by being on the playing field along with the President and First Lady, and many others. This time, Holstine thought it worth her while to show up. Why? So she could take a knee, like Colin Kaepernick:
Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) defended her decision to refuse to answer a question from CNN Senior Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju and instead call him a “liberal hack” on Thursday.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked McSally if she regrets calling Raju a “liberal hack.”
“No, Laura, I do not. I said it again actually as I went in. ‘You’re a liberal hack, buddy.’ You know, these CNN reporters, many of them around the Capitol, they are so biased,” McSally said. “They are so in cahoots with the Democrats, they so can’t stand the president, and they run around trying to chase Republicans and asked trapping questions. I’m a fighter pilot, you know, I call it like it is. That’s what we see out of the mainstream media, and especially CNN every single day. So obviously, I’m going to tell the truth, and I did it today, and it’s laughable how they responded.”
CNN is a “news organization”, it’s a leftist propaganda machine. Liberal hacks working there don’t “report” anything; they spin, lecture, or screech. Fuck ’em.
Programming note: At the moment this post goes live Mrs. Animal and yr. obdt. will be aloft in the Friendly Skies, off to a brief yet fun-filled adventure; watch this space next week for details. ‘Little Women’: Tween Tale
While it’s common for leading men to evolve into strong directors (most recently Bradley Cooper with A Star Is Born), it’s rare for actresses to graduate to directing even though their screen careers are shorter. A large part of the job of directing is decisively persuading your crew that you know what you want and how to get it, which leading men are trained to be good at faking. But leading ladies tend to be selected for the force of their fluctuating feelings. As a Hollywood agent explains to Philip Marlowe in The Little Sister:
If these people didn’t live intense and rather disordered lives, if their emotions didn’t ride them too hard—well, they wouldn’t be able to catch those emotions in flight and imprint them on a few feet of celluloid…
Actors must be at least a little crazy to be good at their craft. A few can let the dog off the leash and then catch it without anyone getting bitten, but most are just plain nutty 24/7.
Apparently some idiots are upset that some of the LSU players were seen smoking cigars after winning the CFP Championship. Fuck off, sissy-boys.
The Other McCain reports that:
A 22-year-old Los Angeles man arrested earlier this week in connection with the weekend disappearance of a 13-year-old Mendocino County girl visiting San Francisco with her family has been released from jail pending charges.
As the Chronicle is reporting, the District Attorney’s Office — the leadership of which changes today with the swearing in of Chesa Boudin — decided to delay a charging decision in the case. Only yesterday, the paper reported that the suspect, King John Baylon, was facing 18 felonies including possession or control of child pornography, using a minor for sex acts, and kidnapping for child molestation. It’s unclear what prompted the decision to delay charges, but all suspects are legally allowed to get out of jail if prosecutors do not file charges within 48 hours of their arrest.
A spokesperson for the DA’s Office, Alex Bastian, simply said that the case remains under investigation.
Blaming kooky CA laws for letting this creep go, OK, but the REAL story is this:
Authorities believe that Baylon met the girl . . . on the internet. The girl came to the city with her family so that her sister could receive treatment for diabetes at UCSF’s Madison Clinic for Pediatric Diabetes. She reportedly claimed she was feeling carsick and she was then seen on surveillance video exiting the hospital. She was later spotted at a local restaurant, where she met up with the suspect.
The girl wasn’t kidnapped. She went willingly with a total stranger she met on the internet. WTF did she think was going to go down? She was going to Hollywood to be movie star? Does she think this perv knows J-Lo or Ariana Grande? Hate to say it, but this idiot escaped from a bad-ending in spite of her maybe deserving it. Parental failure or just totally stupid kid? Hard to say.
None of the commenters address this? Why is that? Seems weird.
