After having a cough and feeling puny all last week I was having a lot of flu-like symptoms Saturday so I went to the ICC and got swabbed. I was running a mild fever so of course the know-it-all MA taking my vitals say that I probably have covid. Yeah, not everybody who’s has a temp over 98.6 has covid, doofus. I test negative for both covid and the flu, so when the fat, creaky NP finally waddles in to tell me the results, I ask, “Well, then what is it?” “There’s a virus going around.” Oh really? Do tell. She tells me to take some OTC meds and come back in if I don’t feel better in a couple of days so that they will do basically nothing for me again except collect another $30 co-pay. Thanks, but no thanks.
Feelin’ better this morning, but still not 100%.

My every other season sinus fevers are NOT covid either dude!
