Or Maybe Our Teachers Just Suck

This guy obviously knows how to teach his subject.

Over and over again we are told what saints and martyrs our teachers are here in the US. But if they are so awesome, why is the US in the bottom 50% in math scores on the PISA exam?

One of the biggest cross-national tests is the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), which every three years measures reading ability, math and science literacy and other key skills among 15-year-olds in dozens of developed and developing countries. The most recent PISA results, from 2015, placed the U.S. an unimpressive 38th out of 71 countries in math and 24th in science. Among the 35 members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which sponsors the PISA initiative, the U.S. ranked 30th in math and 19th in science.

The gymnastics teacher does have the advantage of workign with just the one kid, but it’s not like schools couldn’t be doing limited instruction of very small groups each week and making sure kids are “getting it” before moving on to the next topic.

Our schools suck because they are just jobs programs for democrat/communists disguised as educational programs.

  1. ”This regular everyday superhero teacher does have the advantage of working with just one kid from the front line that was thawed out in our own modern time, but it’s not like superhero schools couldn’t be doing limited instruction of very small groups each week and making sure these modern-day heroes are “getting it”(I’m not EVEN talkin’ bout what you’re thinkin’ lads with the super-heroines like black widow or SERSI either) before moving on to the next topic in that news clipping.”

YEAH, i’ve been part of ”small groups” before even after i was thought dead too& was almost ”replaced” by puny thawed-out kids from the past in said ”groups” too!

That’s 50 percent of the problem. The other 50 percent that is equally to blame is that our parents suck just as much as, if not more than the schools and their teachers.

Most American parents truly don’t give two shits or a damn about their kids and their kids’ education. If they did they wouldn’t for a second tolerate the degeneracy that is American public “education. ” If Americans truly valued their children’s education, they would be as fanatical about it as the parents of the Asian kids who are leaving American kids in the dust academically. But that’s not happening. Indeed, there isn’t even any serious discussion of the glaring gap in performance between American children and their international peers. Actions (or lack thereof) speak much louder than words.

I’ll believe that Americans are serious about their kids’ education on the day that there are BLM-grade demonstrations in the streets over the status quo.
